Ukraine to establish Muslim troops: Crimean leader
Ukraine has stepped up to establish a troop of Muslims, leader of Crimean Tatars, Mustafa Abdülcemil K?r?mo?lu, said on Aug. 3.
The troops will be deployed in the Kherson region on the Crimean border and would monitor transportation of goods and people between Ukraine and the peninsula, he said speaking at a congress.

Bulgaria FM Visiting Ukraine's Odessa
A visit of Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov to Odessa Oblast in Ukraine has entered its second day.
Mitov is in Odessa on June 5-6. On Sunday he met Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin, who visited Bulgaria in mid-February.

The Parliament in Chisinau will discuss on Friday a draft bill granting a status of a 'national-cultural region' to Taraclia, an area in southwestern Moldova with predominantly ethnic Bulgarian population, BGNES reported.
Taraclia is home to more than 30,000 ethnic Bulgarians - the largest ethnic Bulgarian community in Moldova.

Former President Ion Iliescu characterized, on Thursday, Russia's action in the eastern Ukraine as being "a bit adventurous", declaring that he was surprised by Moscow's action, but showed that Russians have a "certain historic debt" as the current territory of Ukraine hosted the first Russian state and this, probably, sparks "certain sensibilities".
