European Commission: Serbia will have to terminate the agreement with Eurasian Union
This is a clear message from European Commission to Serbia.
"Serbia can enter into agreements with other states or organizations prior to joining EU. However, in the perspective of negotiating accession, Serbia has pledged to withdraw from all bilateral trade agreements on the day of EU accession", the Commission said.
Serbia and Eurasian Economic Union to ink deal in October?
Eurasian Economic Commission board member Veronika Nikishina said this on Thursday, Tanjug is reporting, citing TASS.

Ljajic is expected to finalize a deal on free trade between Serbia and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Vecernje Novosti daily writes.

Final talks with Eurasian Union next week
Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic announced this on Thursday, Tanjug is reporting.
Ljajic told TV PINK that he expected a free trade agreement with Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to be concluded before Russian President Vladimir Putin's January 17 visit to Serbia.

Putin: Preferential trade deal with Serbia to be finalized
"We expect the talks on preferential trade agreements with Singapore, Israel, Serbia and in the future with India and Egypt to be completed shortly," Putin said at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council held in St. Petersburg on Thursday, TASS is reporting.
