Bulgaria is World Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics
Bulgaria won the all-around title at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup team-ensеmbles in Sofia.
For Simona Dyankova, Madeleine Radukanova, Laura Traats, Stefani Kiryakova and Erika Zafirova, this is the first race after a break of about a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Coronavirus outbreak strengthened bonds among Olympic athletes
The postponement of the Olympic games due to the novel coronavirus pandemic has left badminton players in limbo, as the international federation was going to announce the official list of the qualified athletes in April.
The 26-year-old Neslihan Yiğit, Turkey's first badminton player to make it to the games, in 2012 is one of them.
Turkish wrestler Atlı into final of European title
Turkish freestyle wrestler Süleyman Atlı advanced on Feb. 14 to the men's finals in the European Championships in Rome.
Atli beat Armenian Mihran Jaburyan 6-3 in the semifinals in the 57 kg category.
He will face Russian Azamat Tuskaev in the final.
The 2020 edition of the European Championships runs through Feb. 16.

Ovidiu Ionescu, Bernadette Szocs win silver medal at table tennis (European Games in Minsk)
Romanian table tennis players Ovidiu Ionescu and Bernadette Szocs won the silver medals in the double mixed on Tuesday evening at the European Games in Minsk after being defeated by Germans Patrick Franziska / Petrisa Solja 3-0 (11-4, 11-4, 11-4).
Kayaalp claims his third world title
Turkish Greco-Roman wrestler Rıza Kayaalp became the second Turk this week to win gold at the World Championships in Paris, beating Estonia's Heiki Nabi in the 130-kilogram category final on Aug. 22.

Milica Mandic takes World Taekwondo Championship gold
Serbian taekwondist Milica Mandic has won the gold medal at the 2017 World Taekwondo Championship in South Korea.
The Olympic gold medalist from London beat reigning champion Hyeri Oh of South Korea 17-13 in the final of the under-73 kg tournament on Thursday, Tanjug reported.
Nevyana Vladinova Wins Gold Medal at Sofia World Cup
Neviana Vladinova won her 4th gold medal at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia, this time at the ribbon routine, BNR reported.
She earned 17.400 points. Katsiaryna Halkina (Belarus) placed second with 17.100 points, followed by Bulgarian Katrin Taseva who won bronze medal.
Tarek Mohamed Wins Another Title For Bulgaria at European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad
Bulgaria's athlete Tarek Mohamed Abdelslam won another title for that country at the European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia, BNR reported.
He defeated 4:1 Russian athlete Chingiz Labazanov at the 75 kilogram Greco-Roman style contest. Labazanove became world champion back in 2014.
Neviana Vladinova Wins Gold Medal at World Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku
Neviana Vladinova has won the gold medal in the ribbon finals at the World Cup in Rhytmic Gymnastics in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Bulgarian contestant reached the bronze in the ball finals and ranked fourth in the hoop and clubs.
