Demining squad destroys 112 items of UXO
PARACIN - Ordnance disposal experts of the Serbian Interior Ministry's Sector for Emergency Management destroyed Tuesday a total of 112 items of unexploded ordnance (UXO) that had been found by members of the Russian-Serbian humanitarian demining squad.

18 WWII artillery shells found in Bela Reka
SABAC - A total of 18 artillery shells left over from World War II were uncovered Monday in the village of Bela Reka near Sabac, western Serbia.
Special teams of the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) emergency situations department have been sent to the village and will continue to comb the area for more unexploded ordnance.

Dangerous WWII Bomb Found at Bulgaria's Black Sea Coast
A bomb disposal unit in Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Bourgas has destroyed a dangerous WWII aerial bomb which was found by accident at the beach.
A diver has discovered the ammunition in the sea, at a depth of 2 meters, about 4 meters away from the rocks in Kraymorie district, Darik news reports.
WWII grenade found in Siatista school courtyard
An old hand grenade was discovered in the courtyard of a high school in Siatista, in Kozani, northern Greece, late on Monday.
A team of military bomb disposal experts were dispatched to the scene and subsequently detonated the weapon.
Reports suggested the grenade dated from World War II.

Croatia Needs 528m Euro for Complete Demining
The Croatian Mine Action Centre said the money was needed in order to clear the country of all the unexploded ordnance still left over from the war by 2019.

Bomb scare at Thessaloniki courthouse a hoax
Bomb disposal experts called to the main courthouse in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, on Tuesday following an anonymous telephone call warning of a bomb have said that the threat was a hoax.
The call shortly after 11 a.m. to one of the court's offices.
Police evacuated the premises and called in experts to scour the building for explosives.
