Police orders evacuations as new major explosion reported in Nea Anchialos
A new major explosion was reported at the Hellenic Air Force ammunition dump near Nea Anchialos on Thursday afternoon after a series of consecutive explosions have rocked the area. The police has ordered its evacuation.
Large cache of explosives found on Ionian island
A large amount of explosive material was found by the police on the island of Zakynthos on Friday in the village of Keri.
More specifically, 800 kilos of ammonium dynamite was found and confiscated. The material was stored in a small room in the basement of an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the village.

Two charged after ex-minister’s home targeted in thwarted bomb attack

Police find cache of explosives on Kalymnos
Police on the Aegean island of Kalymnos have discovered a large cache of explosives in a remote outdoor area, reports said on Monday.
Specifically, investigators found a total of 44 packages comprising explosives and weighing more than 33 kilograms, the same reports said.

Greek urban guerrillas OLA claim TV station attack
A Greek urban guerrilla group claimed responsibility on Tuesday for a blast last month outside one of Greece's biggest TV stations and it accused media of promoting a "capitalist" agenda in the country.
In the claim posted on a website, the Popular Fighters Group (OLA), accused media of helping to preserve a "rotting economic and political system."
