Facebook attaches importance to the national interests of Turkey, a country in which it operates, a senior director at the social media giant said on Nov. 4.

Facebook recently changed name to Meta 

Like many companies in trouble before it, Facebook is changing its name and logo.

Facebook Inc. is now called Meta Platforms Inc., or Meta for short, to reflect what CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Oct. 28 is its commitment to developing the new surround-yourself technology known as the " metaverse." But the social network itself will still be called Facebook.

Truth Social - this will be the name of President Donald Trump's social network. Its goal is to counter the "tyranny of the big technology companies" that are silencing the country's opposition voices, Trump said in a statement.

Facebook plans to change the company's name, according to Fox Media's The Verge blog, citing a source directly involved in the decision. There is no official confirmation. The blog claims that this will happen at the company's annual conference on October 28, when CEO Mark Zuckerberg is expected to speak on the issue.

The publication assumes that this may happen sooner.
