Falun Gong activists deported

BELGRADE -- Serbia's interior minister says the Falun Gong activists who attempted to hold a protest during the visit of China's prime minister have been deported.

Dejan Markovic, an activist of Falun Gong, told Radio Free Europe that 11 members of the movement were expelled from Serbia on Wednesday after police arrested them on December 14.

The seven Bulgarians, followers of the Buddhist movement Falun Gong, that were detained in Belgrade on Tuesday, have been released on Wednesday evening and are expected to return to Bulgaria.

Seven Bulgarian citizens were arrested on Monday evening in Belgrade, said Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry, quoted by the BNT public broadcaster.

They are followers of the Chinese Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) spiritual movement and were intending to protest against the violations of human rights in China.

Secret Services are checking 3.500 people

Chinese oposition organization "Falun gong" is planning to organize a street protest in Belgrade, but Serbian police will not allow it.

Serbian security services are checking all people who will attend China Summit, along with 16 countries from Central and Eastern Europe.
