4 magnitude quake strikes Feneos in the Peloponnese

A magnitude 4 earthquake hit Feneos in the Corinth prefecture of the Peloponnese on Wednesday morning.

No injuries or damage were reported.

According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the quake's epicenter was located 4 km north-northwest of Feneos, at a depth of 11 km.

A 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck the Corinthia region in the northeast Peloponnese on Wednesday at 11.10 a.m.

As reported by the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the earthquake's epicenter was situated 8km southwest of the village of Feneos, at a depth of 35.7 km.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

Stormy weather causes traffic woes in Athens

Torrential rainfall and hailstorms caused problems in several parts of Attica on Tuesday with flooding slowing traffic to a crawl on many roads. Stormy weather caused problems in other areas of the country too. A 37-year-old farmer died in Corinthia in the Peloponnese after being struck by lightning, local news reports said.
