OFI Crete hires Gennaro Gattuso as its new manager

OFI has secured the services of Italian manager Gennaro Gattuso for the next season in the Super League, the Cretan club announced on Thursday.
The former AC Milan, Rangers and Italy defender is making his first steps in his international coaching career and OFI has reached a deal to hire him for the 2014-15 season.

FIFA: Brazil Behind Schedule in World Cup Preparation
Football's world governing body FIFA is concerned with the preparation for the World Cup in Brazil, which starts on June 12.
Three of the stadiums, in Natal, Porto Alegre, and Sao Paulo are yet to be completed and are "racing against the clock", as FIFA General Secretary Jerome Valcke tweeted.

LAUSANNE - The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has confirmed a sanction imposed by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) against Croatia’s player Josip Simunic, who remains suspended during the 2014 FIFA World Cup final competition after leading a Croatian fascist salute following Croatia’s World Cup qualifying play-off victory over Iceland in Zagreb on November 19.
