A man who declared on a social networking site that he would kill himself is now receiving psychological support following the intervention of the polices Cyber Crime unit, it was revealed on Thursday.
The units experts traced the mans location and advised the nearest precinct of his intentions.

Employee of firm tasked with destroying contraband caught stealing it
A 34-year-old man has been arrested in Thessaloniki for stealing contraband cigarettes that had been seized by police and were awaiting incineration.
The man worked at the firm in the Efkarpia area that was due to destroy the cigarettes but was found in possession of 2,565 packets from the illegal consignment.

BELGRADE/KARLOVY VARY - Young Serbian director Ivan Ikic won the special recognition at the 49th Film Festival in Karlovy Vary for his debut film 'Varvari' (Barbarians).
The recognition was delivered to Ikic within the East of the West competition programme.

Boris Popov, director of the VIP terminal of Sofia Airport was sacked, reports Nova TV national channel.
The motives for the sacking are unclear, as attempts to get in touch with the airport management were unsuccessful.
