European Commission Seeks Turbot Quota Cuts for Bulgaria, Romania

The EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council (AGRIFISH) is to decide Monday on cuts to the national turbot quotas of Bulgaria and Romania.

For yet another year in a row, the European Commission has sought a 15% cut to the total allowable catch (TAC) for turbot in the Black Sea in a bid to ensure sustainable fishing.
