PM Citu adamant on school year taking place with in-person attendance
Prime Minister Florin Citu told a video call on Thursday with the prefects and representatives of the Public Health Directorates that he is adamant on this school year taking place with in-class attendance. "I am asking you to get seriously involved, to work together and make sure that all steps are taken for the educational process to run smoothly and with as little risk as possible.
State of alert extended by 30 days
The government approved, on Thursday, the prolongation of the state of alert on the entire territory of Romania by 30 days, Prime Minister Florin Citu announced. "I approved the extension of the state of alert and nothing is modified at this time, things remain as they have been presented up to now," said Citu in a press conference at the Victoria Government Palace.

Ombudsperson questions Premier about reasons for non-publication of CNSU 2021 decisions in Official Journal

Total number of persons infected with novel coronavirus jumps to 19,669
The total number of the Romanians infected with the novel coronavirus increased to 19,669, as another 152 people have been found positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informs on Wednesday. Of the people confirmed infected, 13,800 were declared cured and discharged from the medical units. 162 patients are being treated in intensive care wards.
Senate adopts simple motion against IntMin Vela
