Turkey exports flowers to 83 countries in 2020
Turkey exported $107 million worth of flowers to 83 countries in 2020 despite the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the Ornamental Plants and Products Exporters Union, which embodies the export of cut flowers, indoor and outdoor plants, flower bulbs, and wreaths, the number of branches of flowers sold abroad reached 505 million in 2020, most of them carnations.

Greece's Consulate in Boston to hold annual Marathon wreath ceremony on April 11
The Consul General of Greece in Boston, Stratos Efthymiou, will present the Boston Athletic Association with olive branch wreaths to crown the four first place winners of the 2019 Boston Marathon, during the annual Boston Marathon Wreath Ceremony that it will be held on April 11, according to a press release by the greek Consulate on Thursday.
Armistice Day marked in Serbia
Armistice Day was marked on Saturday in Serbia with a number of ceremonies, including the laying of wreaths at the New Cemetery in Belgrade.
The central state ceremony was led by Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Zoran Djordjevic.

Vucic, Johnson lay wreaths at Commonwealth cemetery
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic and British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on Friday laid wreaths at the Commonwealth Cemetery in Belgrade in commemoration of the WWI Armistice Day.
