Two ex-EOKA militants confess to killing Turks in 1960s on TV

Speaking at a TV interview, two former hitmen of the Greek Cypriot terror organization EOKA have confessed to killing some 68 Turks and "throwing them into a pit" in the 1960s.

"We killed 10 Turks for each lost Greek Cypriot," Neoptolemos Leftis and Athos Petridis, who are in their 80s today, told the Omega TV on May 26.

A rocket attack on the Training Center of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region killed 87 people, said the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking in Davos.
The mobilized forces of the territorial defense of Ukraine were trained in that center.

Turkey, Saudi Arabia show common will to enhance ties: Erdoğan

Turkey and Saudi Arabia have demonstrated common will to develop bilateral relations on the basis of mutual respect and trust, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on April 30. 

Speaking to journalists on the presidential plane returning from Saudi Arabia, Erdoğan said two countries are determined to continue this effort for the common interests and stability of the region.
