Four Seasons hotels and resorts

Procopiou-owned company acquires stake in Astir Palace’s holder

A corporate entity owned by George Procopiou, one of Greece's leading shipowners, has spent about 150 million euros on acquiring a third of the shares of the Apollo Investment Holdco SA company that controls the emblematic Astir Palace resort at Vouliagmeni, southern Athens.

Big hotels gradually reopen

One after the other, the big Greek hotels are getting ready to open, with most of them expected to start taking in customers on July 1st.

The large hotel groups are having to make choices about which of their hotels to open, given the large drop in demand due to the pandemic.

What next for the Athens Riviera

The reopening of the Astir Palace in Vouliagmeni, southern Athens, under the management of Four Seasons Hotels, a leading international luxury hospitality company that had until recently held back from investing in Greece, is no doubt a vote of confidence in the country's tourism product.
