Emmanuel Macron's nightmare
Macron's option expected to win an absolute majority, as in the previous elections in 2017.
The Parisian "Le Monde" estimates that it is a "nightmare" for the head of state who called on the French to give him clear and convincing support during the campaign, and that Macron is now facing cohabitation and serious difficulties in implementing his policy.

Macron Won the first round of Parliamentary Elections in France by 0.1%
The Ensemble alliance, led by French President Emmanuel Macron, won 25.75% of the vote in the first round of parliamentary elections, gaining 0.09% over the New Ecologic and Social People's Union, led by left-wing leader Jean-Luc Melenchon (25.66%).
Macron's majority endangered?
The election results so far show that the left-wing coalition led by Jean-Luc Mlenchon has a slight advantage in the number of votes won in the first round of parliamentary elections.
