Lakis Gavalas celebrated his 72nd birthday in Mykonos.

The famous designer has been on the island of the Winds for the past few days, enjoying his holidays.

On this special day for him, Lakis Gavalas made a post on his personal Instagram account.

His investment includes a new two-story residence with an underground parking garage, a swimming pool, and a decorative pool, designed by five well-known architectural firms. The construction is expected to be completed by the summer of 2026.

A large firefighting force on Friday morning resumed efforts to douse a large blaze that broke out on the island of Evia on Thursday.

Efforts continued through the night to put out three fire fronts - in Kymi, Pyrgri and Aghios Georgios - while waterdropping aircraft joined the operation at first light on Friday morning.
