Gaza Strip evacuations

Israel kills 19 Palestinians in Gaza

The Israeli army on Thursday morning killed at least 19 Palestinians in airstrikes across the Gaza Strip as the genocidal war continues unabated for over 14 months.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that four Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on two homes belonging to the families of "Sahwail" and "Zaqqout" in Beit Lahia Project area in the northern Gaza Strip.

UN humanitarian work in Gaza impacted by evacuation order

The United Nations on Monday said humanitarian work in the Gaza Strip has taken a serious blow after Israel ordered a new evacuation in the center of the besieged territory.

It came as the United States announced "progress" in Gaza truce talks underway in Cairo, even after a major but brief cross-border escalation between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah group in Lebanon.

Proliferating evacuation orders sow chaos, confusion in Gaza

The Israeli military has issued so many evacuation orders in 10 months of war that many Gaza civilians no longer heed them, despairing of finding space or safety in the shrinking "humanitarian" zones.

Over the first three weeks of August, the Israeli army sent out 11 evacuation orders via flyers dropped from planes, text messages or social media.
