Tate Modern Hosts Masterpieces from the Blue Rider Movement

Curator Nikos Giavropoulos asked a group of artists to explore the invisible link between Joseph Beuys' performance piece "How to Explain Pictures to a Dead Hare," Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" and the prehistoric human imprint found at the Lascaux Cave in southwestern France in an initiative whose results will go on display at The Project Gallery in Psyrri from April 13 to May 4.

'Countdown to the Future' begins in Istanbul

Turkey?s Akbank Sanat, the art foundation of Akbank, has brought German artists? group ZERO?s innovative and dynamic soul to ?stanbul with ?Countdown to the Future,? launched Sept. 2.

Helmut Middendorf artwork exhibition in Athens

A fascinating exhibition is running at Eleni Koroneou Gallery with works by Helmut Middendorf.

In the current show titled “Kick Out the Jams”, that will last until March 28, Middendorf presents large-scale paintings from the early neo-expressionism period of the 80’s along with a series of acrylic on paper from the same period.
