Crops destroyed in Evros floods
Some 20 hectares of farmland in Evros, northeastern Greece, has been flooded due to heavy rain in the area.
Local authorities said that the crops in the flooded areas have been destroyed.
Evros often suffers floods, although more commonly in the fall and winter.

More flooding in Texas after storms, death toll hits 23
Rain caused flooding on roads in parts of Texas on May 30, an official said, after severe weather killed at least 23 people during the week and prompted US President Barack Obama to declare a disaster in the state.
Snowstorms Claim Man's Life in Bosnia
Heavy snow which has left parts of Southeast Europe paralyzed took on Friday the life of a 53-year-old man buried by a landslide in the central part of the country.
The landslide was triggered by snowfall and rains which flooded Bosnia-Herzegovina in the past few days, the BalkanInsight website writes.

Roads closed in northern Greece as snow makes its way south
A number of roads in northern Greece closed on Monday after temperatures dropped below zero and snow fell in many parts.
The cold snap is expected to descend on Attica by Monday afternoon, with snow expected in some parts of Athens.
The freezing weather is accompanied by gale force winds in the Aegean.
Temperatures In Bulgaria To Hit New Low
Chilly winds from the north will take over Bulgaria on Monday.
Minimum temperatures will vary between -5 and 0 degrees Celsius, the possible maximum for the day will be 2 to 3° C as announced by the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology.

Bulgaria with More Snowstorms in the Upcoming Week
The danger of snowstorms remains in the eastern parts of Bulgaria, currently experiencing severe winds, and temperatures will continue to decrease, the National Institute of Hydrology and Meteorology has announced.
Situation will remain critical in many regions as the snowstorm on Friday has also caused power failures across the country, most of which are now fixed.

Bulgaria Warns of Snowfall, Rising River Levels
Bulgaria on Sunday issued a high water level warning for most rivers on its territory due to expected rain and snow.
Most affected will be the rivers in northern Bulgaria followed by those in the country's eastern regions, as well the rivers in southwestern Bulgaria, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.

Expected December Temperatures Around Norm, Snow Likely For Christmas
The average temperatures in December will be around the norm - from around 4 to -5° in the various parts of the country, said Bulgaria's Meteorology Institute in its monthly forecast.
The expected precipitation will be around and above the norm, with snow likely around Christmas and before New Year's Eve.
December will start with rain and snow.
