Laura Poitras' award-winning documentary "All the Beauty and the Bloodshed" shines a light on the life and work of photographer and activist Nan Goldin. The film caused a stir in the industry, winning the 2022 Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and the Golden Athena at the Athens International Film Festival.

The Golden Lion, the top prize at the Venice Film Festival set to begin September 1, will be awarded to one film among 21 contenders from across the globe.
