The Goulandris Natural History Museum is hosting an exhibition titled "We Are One: Celebrating the natural world to which we all belong" by Stefanos Nanopoulos a.k.a. NANO. NANO, a Greek contemporary artist based in London, employs digital and mixed media to convey the importance of biodiversity in shaping our world, emphasizing the beauty and harmony found in the diversity of elements.

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation's modern art museum (13 Eratosthenous, Pangrati) is organizing a pottery workshop for people over 15 years old, in collaboration with ceramist Elpida Kourtzi, which will span three Fridays in February. Participants will make unique ceramic pieces inspired by the works of the B&E Goulandris Foundation Collection.

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation has collaborated with major European museums to present, for the first time in Greece, a comprehensive tribute to the Neo-Impressionist art movement, with a focus on the Mediterranean region. The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation has announced its donation of 50,000 protective masks to the Health Ministry.
According to the Goulandris Foundation, the gesture is a small token of gratitude and support for the work performed by National Health System doctors and nurses to combat Covid-19.
The masks will be used at five 24-hour health centers in Attica.

Singer Kyveli Kastoriadis travels from Paris to Athens to perform with guitarist Orestis Kalampalikis, who has arranged a program of works inspired by portraits from the B&E Goulandris Foundation's collection. The set includes works by Serge Gainsbourg, Astor Piazzolla, Manos Hadjidakis and Barbara and focuses on music as a reflection of human psychology.

The Basil and Elise Goulandris Foundation will launch a series of jazz concerts on the premises of its recently opened modern art museum in Pangrati on October 18 with a tribute to the great Thelonious Monk by the George Kontrafouris Trio.

Preparations are under way for the October 2 grand opening of the new Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation Museum in the central Athens district of Pangrati.

As announced in a recent press conference by Fleurette Karadontis, niece of the late Elise Goulandris and president of the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation, the much awaited Goulandris museum will open in just a few months, on October 1, with a series of celebratory events.
