According to RTS, the strong forces of the Gendarmerie are deployed in the village district of Malca and the final "tightening of the ring around the abductor" is being performed.
Last night, in the late evening, police also searched the village of Jasenovik, however, that search did not yield a result.

A suspect was detained on July 31 for allegedly robbing several tons of railway tracks in Turkey's eastern Van province, said the local gendarmerie command in a statement.

Mihajlovic: Excessive use of force cannot be permitted

BELGRADE -- Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic condemned any use of excessive force.

BELGRADE - Five members of the Gendarmerie have been suspended over the beating of Serbian prime minister's brother Andrej Vucic and the investigation into the incident to establish the facts and motives will be completed early next week, Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Wednesday.
