Interior Ministry suspends 265 personnel from Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Command

Turkey's Interior Ministry has suspended 153 more personnel from the Gendarmerie and 112 from the Coast Guard Commandership as part of the investigation into the movement of U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, believed to be behind the July 15 military coup attempt. 

Fresh indictment reveals alleged details of ByLock app

Prosecutors in the western province of Denizli have prepared an indictment against 60 suspects with alleged links to July 15 coup attempt due to their use of ByLock, an app that is suspected to be widely used for internal communication among Gülenists, who are believed to have masterminded the putsch. 

Turkish justice minister heads to US for Gülen extradition talks

Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ, accompanied by lawmakers from opposition parties, departed to the United States on Oct. 25 to hold talks on Turkey's demand for the extradition of Fethullah Gülen, the Pennsylvania-based Islamic preacher accused of orchestrating the failed July 15 military coup. 

Istanbul Bar Association now belongs to everyone: New head Durakoğlu

The newly elected head of the Istanbul Bar Association, Mehmet Durakoğlu, has said the bar now "belongs to everyone." 
"A one-man presidential system is not acceptable. Working collectively is crucial. The election is over and our problems are shared," Durakoğlu said, adding that he called on "all groups" to attend the bar council. 

ByLock use is an evidence of Gülen network links: Owner

The usage of ByLock, an encrypted messaging application that is said to have been used by members of the Gülen Movement under U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, who is accused of orchestrating the failed coup attempt of July 15, could show evidence of links to Gülen, according to a Turkish-origin U.S. citizen, who has been revealed to be the patent holder for the app.
