Turkey arrests Cumhuriyet CEO Akın Atalay

Turkish judicial authorities arrested the CEO of daily Cumhuriyet on Nov. 12, a day after he was detained as he arrived at Istanbul Atatürk Airport following a trip to Germany.

Akın Atalay was arrested for "being a member of a terrorist organization."

The CEO's lawyer, Bahri Belen, released a statement, saying they would continue to defend "law until the very end."

Gülenists donated around $2 mln to Clinton campaign: Democratic source

Some figures from the Gülen Movement under the U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, who is accused of the July 15 failed coup attempt, made nearly $2 million donation to defeated Democratic Party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during her campaign, according to a Democratic source, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Nov. 12.

Prosecutors say ByLock app evidence of Gülen network links

Turkish judicial council report says Ergenekon trials were driven by Gülenists

The High Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK) has concluded that the six judges and two prosecutors who worked on the Ergenekon case, prosecuting 274 suspects on charges of attempting to overthrow the government of the time, were serving the movement of U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen.
