Blast Injures People Near Military Polygon in Bulgaria

One person passed away and four others were severely injured during a blast at the military polygon Anevo, as reported by BGNES.

Mayor of the nearby town of Sopot, Veselin Lichev has stated that the one person passed away is not a Bulgarian resident. 

According to preliminary information, a hand grenade has exploded during military training in the region.

All leftover 18 grenades from WWII destroyed

SABAC - Members of the Interior Ministry's Emergency situation sector destroyed the 18 leftover artillery grenades from World War II in the village of Bela Reka near Sabac on Tuesday.

“Everything was completed without any difficulties and the team returned to Belgrade,” head of the local Emergency situation sector Aleksandar Stojkovic told Tanjug.

Hand grenade found outside Kathimerini-Skai headquarters

Members of the Greek counter-terrorism squad were called to Skai and Kathimerini media group headquarters in Neo Faliro, southern Athens, on Saturday, to remove a hand grenade discovered outside the premises.

An employee reportedly spotted the device, which had been under a car parked outside the Neo Faliro building, after the vehicle was moved.

Two persons injured in hand grenade blast in BiH

JAJCE - Two persons were injured when a hand grenade exploded in the village of Vlasinje near Jajce while they were farming the land, the Central Bosnian Canton police have released in a statement.

After receiving the medical treatment at the Health Center, the injured have been discharged and will be receiving home health care.
