Turkish Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Sofia
A Turkish Airlines plane has made an emergency landing at Sofia Airport on Wednesday but there were no injuries, BGNES news outlet reported.
The plane, flying from Istanbul to Prague, developed a technical problem while in Bulgarian airspace. According to initial information, smoke appeared on board.
All passengers have left the aircraft, BGNES said.
BA new flights to Greek island hotspots this summer
British Airways announced plans to include four new flight routes from the UK to the Greek islands of Kos, Corfu, Rhodes and Crete during the summer months.
BA will operate two flights a week to Kos and Rhodes and four flights a week to Corfu and Iraklion on the island of Crete.
