The Holocaust in Yugoslavia

BELGRADE - The Republic of Serbia on Wednesday purchased Adolf Hitler's infamous Directive No. 25 of March 27, 1941, whereby the German chancellor ordered the attack on the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the Kingdom of Greece.

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic and Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic met with the commanders of a part of army units on Wednesday.

The evacuation of tourists from Greece is currently not possible because the highways are closed, Serbian Ambassador to Greece Duan Spasojevi confirmed for B92.net.
As he stated, storms are slowly abating, however, it is still not possible for Serbian tourists to return or evacuate, because the roads are closed.

BANJALUKA - The PMs of Republika Srpska and Serbia, Radovan Viskovic and Ana Brnabic, signed on Friday in Banjaluka a memorandum on a project to build twin memorial centres to commemorate of the victims of the WWII Jasenovac death camp in the Independent State of Croatia.

As stated by that newspaper, Vui made the decision on the basis of the Law on the President of the Republic and the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces, and due to the complication of the security situation in the country.
The decision refers to proposing to the Government that acts be passed in order to suspend the export of weapons and military equipment in the next 30 days.

Suljagi's controversial address took place during a conference dedicated to collective memory held on July 10 this year in Srebrenica.

The central ceremony at the Monument to the Victims of Genocide in the complex of the former Nazi camp Staro Sajmite is led by President Aleksandar Vui.

The Croatian parliament started its session with a minute of silence to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Thursday, while a delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Boris Milosevic and Culture Minister Nina Obuljen Korzinek laid wreaths at the Mirogoj Cemetery in the capital Zagreb.

The Croatian parliamentary committee for war veterans' affairs endorsed a proposal on Tuesday to establish a military graveyard in the central Mirogoj cemetery in Zagreb for soldiers who fought for the 1941-45 Independent State of Croatia, NDH, a Nazi-backed puppet state.

Namely, the works in question are the reconstruction and modernization of the railway Subotica-Horgos-state border with Hungary-Szeged.
Before the arrival of President Vui and Hungarian Prime Minister Orbn, more than 5.000 citizens gathered in Horgos.
