A mural marking the deportation of Thessaloniki's Jews to Nazi death camps during World War II has been defaced for a second time, the community group that commissioned it said.
Zuroff: Honours for Deva an insult to memory of his victims
JERUSALEM - The director of Jerusalem-based Simon Wiesenthal Centre, Efraim Zuroff, says the Centre consistently opposes a renovation of the Kosovska Mitrovica house of WWII Nazi collaborationist Xhafer Deva.
In a statement to Tanjug, Zuroff said honours for Deva sent a horrible message to the Kosovo society and were a terrible insult to the memory of his numerous victims.

Despite an apology from the host of "The View" talk show, ABC News President Kim Godwin said she had decided it was not enough.

We Pay Tribute to the Victims of the Holocaust
Today, people around the world will commemorate and honor those who lost their lives by the Nazi machine during World War II. The UN General Assembly has chosen to declare the date on which the Auschwitz camp was liberated in 1945 as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

UN approves resolution condemning denial of Nazi Holocaust
The U.N. General Assembly approved an Israeli-sponsored resolution on Jan. 20 condemning any denial of the Holocaust and urging all nations and social media companies "to take active measures to combat antisemitism and Holocaust denial or distortion."
