Turkish Industry and Technology Mehmet Minister Fatih Kacır has urged the European Union to provide visa exemptions for Turkish young researchers and entrepreneurs, stressing the significance of this move in invigorating Europe's innovation and technology ecosystem.

"The European Parliament is at the heart of my commitment to the European idea of my years as a MEP in 2009 and as a member of the European Court of Auditors.

Greece ranked seventh among the European Union's 27 member-states both in approved projects and in funding in the Horizon Europe program for research and innovation over 2021-2022, the National Documentation Center said on Thursday.

Greece accounted for 829 projects, or 16.5% of all EU states' projects, and approved funding of 644.72 million euros, or 4.5% of all EU projects.

Ljubljana – The Education Ministry is holding a two-day online conference to mark the start of the EU’s emerging research and innovation programme Horizon Europe. The European Commission representatives and other foreign speakers will present the three pillars of the framework.

European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation Carlos Moedas congratulated on Wednesday the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the agreement reached on the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation for 2021-2027 - Horizon Europe.
