More than 200 children killed in Yemen in 2017: UN
More than 200 children have been killed in war-battered Yemen this year, a United Nations official said on Aug. 7.
"In 2017, 201 children killed in Yemen: 152 boys and 49 girls," Meritxell Relano, UNICEF Resident Representative in Yemen, said on Twitter.

Iran will hit back at most of Saudi Arabia with the exception of Islam's holiest places if the kingdom does anything "ignorant", Tehran's defense minister was quoted as saying on Sunday after a Saudi prince threatened to move the "battle" to Iran.
Trump meets top Saudi prince as Yemen war rages
U.S. President Donald Trump hosted Saudi Arabia's powerful Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House on March 14, for talks expected to focus on the economy and rolling back Iranian influence.
Trump welcomed the young prince to the Oval Office, as both countries expect to improve ties that were frequently strained under Barack Obama's administration.

Yemen's Houthis attack Saudi ship, launch ballistic missile
The armed Houthi movement attacked a Saudi warship off the western coast of Yemen on Jan. 30, causing an explosion that killed two crew members and injured three others, Saudi state news agency SPA reported.

Breaking: Reports say Russian Ambassador to Yemen killed
The Russian ambassador to Yemen has been shot and killed in Sanaa, according to reports coming from the Arab kingdom.
Vladimir Dedushkin was reportedly “keeping a close eye” in the war-torn country.
The diplomat was reportedly assassinated in the capital Sanaa.
The assassination was reported by Saudi Arabia’s Barq news agency.
