Koç Holding records 49 percent profit jump with real estate sale
Turkeyâs largest company Koç Holdingâs second-quarter net income has risen to 49 percent, 872.4 million Turkish Liras ($400.5 million), due to a boost from a one-time real estate sale.
The companyâs income has been beefed up by the 299 million-lira extra revenue collected from the sale of a property as part of the Veliefendi real estate project.
CCHBC H1 profit falls, Q2 EBIT up
Coca-Cola HBC AG, the second-largest bottler of Coca-Cola Company brands, on Thursday reported a net profit slide of 11 percent in the six-month period ending June 27.
Income fell to 99 million euros from 111 million a year earlier. Net sales revenue declined 6 percent to 3.183 million from 3.381 million in the same period.

Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency To Check Auto Glass Shops
Inspectors of Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency started checkups in the auto glass shops in Sofia, said the institution.
The inspections are prompted by numerous complaints of car owners after yesterday's hailstorm in Sofia, that the repair shops don't issue receipts, as required by law.

Foreign visitors leave some 100 million euros in tips every year to employees working in Greek hotels, restaurants and other services in the tourism sector, according to a new survey carried out by the travel website Tripadvisor, which found Americans more inclined to tip workers, even when service was below par.

Macedonia Names and Shames Worst Debtors
Three public enterprises, “Makedonija pat”, “Makedonski sumi” and “Komunalec - Gostivar”, are among the top ten debtors in Macedonia, according the report of the Public Revenue Office. Together they owe the state around €11 million.
The list reveals that some 3,500 state and private companies as well as individuals owe the state a total of €200 million.

MPs in Bosnia Richest Relatively in Europe
In impoverished Bosnia, MPs are to be envied. Parliamentarians earn no less than than six times the average wage.
It makes them the best paid parliamentarians in Europe in terms of comparison to average wages, the Banja Luka-based Center for research and studies, Gea, said.
