IND Queens Boulevard Line

A temporary traffic organization is being implemented in Sofia from today until September 14 due to the ongoing repair work on Opalchenska Street. The Center for Urban Mobility (CMG) has announced changes to the routes of trolleybus lines 1, 5, 7, and 11 as part of this temporary arrangement.

The movement of trams along the "Bulgaria" boulevard in the capital was briefly disrupted due to an accident involving a car, as reported by the Ministry of the Interior. The incident occurred around 9:30 this morning when a car collided in the vicinity of "Bulgaria" Boulevard.

Special traffic regulations are to be implemented on Thursday in road sections of Alimos, Glyfada, Elliniko, and Argiroupoli, due to the planned controlled detonation of obsolete munitions. 

I'm struck by the ongoing debate regarding the future of Vassilissis Olgas Avenue in the center of the Greek capital. It appears to serve as a smokescreen for narrow political objectives while overlooking the daily ordeal we Athenians face on our congested roads.
