Credit growth expected to stabilize: Central Bank
Credit growth rates are expected to stabilize following the policy rate decision taken in March and the macroprudential measures, according to the Central Bank.
Total loan growth has accelerated since the bank's rate-setting meeting in February, the bank said in the summary of the March Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting, released on March 28.

Bulgaria: Over 12% is the Annual Inflation in March
The annual inflation for March 2022 compared to March 2021 in Bulgaria is 12.4%, according to the National Statistical Institute.
The consumer price index for March 2022 compared to February 2022 is 102.2%, i.e. monthly inflation is 2.2%, Inflation since the beginning of the year (March 2022 compared to December 2021) is 5.2%.
Turkey’s annual inflation rate at 16.19% in March
Turkey posted a 16.19% annual rise in consumer prices in March, the country's statistical authority announced on April 5.
The annual figure increased by 0.58 percentage points last month, rising from 15.61% in February, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
Month-on-month, the consumer price index climbed by 1.08% in March.

Turkey’s annual inflation rate at 15.61% in February
Turkey posted a 15.61% annual rise in consumer prices in February, the country's statistical authority announced on March 3.
The annual figure increased by 0.64 percentage points last month, rising from 14.97% in January, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
Month-on-month, the consumer price index climbed by 0.91% in February.
Turkish Central Bank lowers interest rates by 50bps
The Turkish Central Bank on May 21 lowered its one-week repo rate by 50 base points, in line with market expectation.
A statement from the bank's fifth of 12 Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meetings scheduled for this year said the policy rate was dropped to 8.25% from 8.75%.
Turkey to drop interest rate, survey predicts
Economists expect that Turkey's Central Bank will drop interest rates this week, an Anadolu Agency survey forecast on May 18.
The fifth meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) this year will be held on May 21 to announce the bank's decision on interest rates.

Survey: Turkey Central Bank may cut interest rates
The Turkish Central Bank is forecast to cut its interest rates for the 10th month in a row, according to a panel of economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency on April 20.
The fourth Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting of the year will be held on April 22 to announce the bank's decision on interest rates.
