Bulgarian Students Shine at Inaugural International AI Olympiad with Gold and Bronze Medals
At the first International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), held in Burgas from August 9 to 15, Bulgarian students achieved notable success. The competition saw participation from about 200 students across nearly 40 countries, each working on innovative AI projects for six days.

The Bulgarian national team won 4 bronze medals at the 35th International Informatics Olympiad in Hungary (IOI 2023). The Bulgarians competed with 360 participants from 90 countries and for another year confirmed Bulgaria's place on the global IT scene.

The Bulgarian team won one gold and three bronze medals at this year's International Olympiad in Informatics in Japan.
Serbian students win four bronze medals at Informatics Olympiad
Serbia's team of high school students has won four bronze medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics held in Tehran.
According to the Mathematical Society of Serbia, the medals were won by Filip Vesovic, Momcilo Topalovic, and Vladimir Milenkovic from Belgrade's Mathematical High School, and Dusan Zivanovic from the Svetozar Markovic Gymnasium in Nis.
