Palestine to apply ICC for killing of Turkish American activist
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has announced preparations to file a complaint with the International Criminal Court (ICC) on the killing of Turkish American activist Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi.
Eygi was shot in her head and killed on Sept. 6 by Israel in the occupied West Bank.
Brief clashes erupt after pro-Palestinian march to Israeli embassy in Athens
Greek police clashed with protesters after a pro-Palestinian march to the Israeli embassy in Athens on Wednesday, Reuters witnesses and police officials said.
More than 2,500 people marched through the streets of Athens to the embassy carrying Palestinian flags and chanting "Free Palestine!"
Protesters march to Israeli Embassy
Thousands of demonstrators - estimates say about 15,000 - gathered in central Athens Sunday afternoon and marched to the Israeli Embassy to "stop the slaughter of the Palestinian people in Gaza," as they said.
The rally was organized by pro-Communist unions and also attended by Palestinians.
