A coalition of more than 100 South Korean civic groups on Thursday condemned the Berlin film festival for inviting director Kim Ki-duk, who assaulted an actress, despite its support for the #MeToo campaign against abuse of women.

Californian lawmaker Christina Garcia, one of the leaders of the #MeToo movement against sexual abuse, was accused of seeking male attention, write the agencies.

American model and actress Kate Upton accused one of the founders of "Guess" brand designer Paul Marciano for sexual harassment, USA Today reported.

"It's disappointing that such an iconic women's brand @GUESS is still empowering Paul Marciano as their creative director", twenty-five-year-old Upton wrote on Twiter.

Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar stole the show, and most of the awards, at the 2018 Grammys, according to BBC.

Mars provided the night's big upset, taking the album of the year trophy that most critics assumed would go to Lamar's rap tour de force, Damn.

In the end, voters found Mars's crowd-pleasing R&B more palatable, while Lamar dominated the rap categories.

On Monday evening Time magazine announced the 10 finalists who will be fighting for the prestigious title "Personality of the Year". Among the candidates are some of the most famous state leaders, women who caused the greatest demand for retribution against sexual abuse, Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world, and whether he likes it or not - US President Donald Trump.

Kevin Spacey has said he is seeking treatment after facing allegations of sexual misconduct from a string of men, reported BBC. 

A representative for the actor said he "is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment".

They did not give any information about what kind of treatment he wants.

Greece's central bank dismissed claims by hacking group Anonymous that it had accessed confidential internal files, saying on Wednesday the material was already in the public domain.

Anonymous responded by warning that it was merely testing out the bank's defenses and could step up its attack.

The Bank of Greece (BoG) has denied claims by the local branch of the international hacker-activist group Anonymous that it hacked and released confidential documents from the servers of the country's central bank.

After temporarily knocking out the government website for the auction of properties of overindebted Greeks last week, the local branch of the international hacker-activist group Anonymous threatened to target banks and the healthcare provider EOPYY.

Out of service is the electronic auction site with the Anonymous hacker team claiming responsibility yesterday with a statement posted on facebook.

The Electronic Auction System was down until at least 11 am on Sunday.
