Uber and Yandex will Cooperate in Russia
Uber's US Shared Travel Service and Russian Internet Company Yandex intend to step up cooperation in Russia, the DPA reported.
Yandex is the market leader in internet search in Russia and Yandex Taxi offers its own online taxi service.

Google Marks 19 Years Since its Creation
Google's global search engine marks its 19th birthday by creating a Doodle with interactive games. The company's history began 19 years ago from a small garage in Menlo Park, California. While still being Stanford University students, the Americans Larry Page and Sergey Brin (who is of Russian descent) are attempting to develop an efficient keyword search engine algorithm.

Verizon has taken over Yahoo, completing a $4.5 billion deal that will usher in a new management team to attempt to wring more advertising revenue from one of the internet's best-known brands.
Russia's Yandex in Ukraine accused of treason, offices searched
Kyiv security services on May 29 said they were conducting searches in the Ukrainian offices of the popular Russian internet company Yandex as part of a treason probe.
"The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is conducting searches in the offices of the subsidiary of the Russian company Yandex in Kiev and Odessa", SBU spokeswoman Olena Gitlyanska wrote on her Facebook page.
Google and Facebook control one-fifth of global ad revenue
Silicon Valley internet giants Google and Facebook have raked in over $100 billion in global advertising spending, a recent report says.
The two companies have grown their share of global ad revenue from about a tenth in 2012 to a fifth in 2016, according to an annual ranking presented by data and analysis agency Zenith.
