An increasing number of people around the world seem to be preoccupied with thoughts of a global military conflict, as amid growing tensions in the international arena the number of web searches for 'World War 3' has hit the highest level ever.

Greece 6th in Russian travelers’ online searches
Greece was the 6th most popular tourism destination in Russian travel platform Yandex in January 2017. Greece had a 4.9% of the total reach share, with Thailand (12.2%), Turkey (6.2%), India-Goa (6%), Vietnam (5.7%), Egypt (5.2%) occupying the top 5 spots.

Google as a Turkish national search engine
Yesterday it was announced that our first national search engine, Geliyoo, is ready to be used. The news went viral because just a few days ago, Transportation and Communications Minister Ahmet Arslan said we needed a national search engine because we currently depend on foreign technologies.

Yahoo chief Marissa Mayer to leave company
Yahoo confirmed on Jan. 9 that chief executive Marissa Mayer will quit the company's board after its merger with Verizon.
Mayer is expected to remain with Yahoo's core business, which is being bought by the U.S. telecom titan.
Yahoo is selling its internet operations as a way to separate that from its more valuable stake in Chinese internet giant Alibaba.

One Billion Yahoo Accounts Hacked in 2013
BELGRADE - A data breach in August 2013 exposed information held in more than 1 billion Yahoo user accounts, the company said Wednesday.
The hacking incident is separate from an intrusion Yahoo reported in September, when the company disclosed 500 million user accounts were exposed in 2014.
