Scientists Discovered Water Vapors on Jupiter's Moon Europe
NASA's Maryland Space Center experts in have confirmed that there are traces of water vapor above the surface of Jupiter's icy moon Europa, Science Alert reported.
They analyzed data obtained from the Hawaiian Keck Observatory over 17 observations with a spectrograph to study the chemical compositions of other planets' atmospheres by scanning the infrared light they release or absorb

State of emergency in Lasithi after heavy rainfall
General Secretary for Civil Protection Yiannis Tafyllis on Wednesday declared a state of emergency in the municipality of Oropedio in the Cretan prefecture of Lasithi due to damage from heavy rainfall over the past few days.

Europa throws jets of water out in space
Scientists have found evidence of a liquid water ocean swirling under the icy shell of Jupiter’s moon Europa, Nasa announced on Monday, with new evidence of water plumes bursting out into space. Scientists first reported the behaviour in 2013 using the Hubble telescope, but have now made a follow-up sighting.

NASA: Activity spied on Europa
NASA had announced that the Hubble Space Telescope had captured ‘surprising evidence of activity’ on Europa – which made many think that aliens might have been found.
The agency has looked to calm speculation on social media and elsewhere that a press conference on Monday will put a light on the discovery of life on Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons.

A breathtaking window into Pluto’s geology (pics+vid)
The best photos from the New Horizons spacecraft that buzzed Pluto earlier this year were released by NASA providing resolutions of less than 100 yards per pixel.
NASA also published a video compiled from the sharpest views of Pluto seen so far from New Horizons.

Pluto may have ice volcanoes
Two icy volcanoes may erupt at Pluto’s south pole, according to images from NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft.
The images show two mountains in circular shape and with deep depressions in their centers. One, Wright Mons, is 3 to 5 kilometres high and the other, Piccard Mons, is up to 6 kilometres high.
