Before they were ousted by the 1979 Islamic revolution, Iran's royal family enjoyed a lavish lifestyle with a taste for fast cars quite unlike any ever built.

Now, after half a century hidden away, the royal racers are back on show, with the Iran Historical Car Museum drawing in thousands since it opened to the public in recent weeks.

Iran needs a unifying voice in opposition and “I am that voice,” said Reza Pahlavi, last heir to the overthrown Pahlavi Dynasty, which opposes the Islamic Republic of Iran from exile. Several assailants raided the holy shrine of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, South of the capital Tehran on Wednesday morning, wounding two people in a bomb attack and a shooting spree, Fars reported.

FNA reports said three unidentified armed men srated a shooting spree at Imam Khomeini's shrine this morning.

According to initial reports, three assailants strormed the Iranian Parliament shooting at the guards.

One IRGC guard and two civilians have been injured.

The two civilians were citizens visiting their deputies.

According to some information it seems that the police guard has died of his injuries.

Iranian authorities have offered daily Hürriyet journalists a sneak peak of former queen Farah Pahlavi's collection of modern art, which included Picassos, Pollocks and Warhols, preserved next to the portraits of Ayatollah Khomeini.
