Vintage cars show racy past of Iran’s toppled royalty
Before they were ousted by the 1979 Islamic revolution, Iran's royal family enjoyed a lavish lifestyle with a taste for fast cars quite unlike any ever built.
Now, after half a century hidden away, the royal racers are back on show, with the Iran Historical Car Museum drawing in thousands since it opened to the public in recent weeks.

Seven suspects arrested over alleged links with twin attacks in Tehran
Iranian authorities have arrested seven people suspected of helping militants involved in twin attacks in the capital Tehran, a judiciary official said on June 9.
Islamic State claimed responsibility for the suicide bombings and gun attacks on parliament and the mausoleum of the Islamic Republic's founder, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, that killed 17 people on June 7.

Several assailants raided the holy shrine of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, South of the capital Tehran on Wednesday morning, wounding two people in a bomb attack and a shooting spree, Fars reported.
FNA reports said three unidentified armed men srated a shooting spree at Imam Khomeini's shrine this morning.

According to initial reports, three assailants strormed the Iranian Parliament shooting at the guards.
One IRGC guard and two civilians have been injured.
The two civilians were citizens visiting their deputies.
According to some information it seems that the police guard has died of his injuries.
