Serbian MPs Queried for Observing East Ukraine Polls

Two MPs from Serbia's ruling Progressive Party are in hot water for monitoring separatist elections in eastern Ukraine.

Following opposition accusations about their actions in parliament, Progressive Party MP Zoran Babic said the two MPs went to the separatist headquarters of Donetsk as citizens and not as representatives of the Serbian parliament.

MAE not recognising 'so-called elections' in the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk

Romania's Foreign Ministry (MAE) is not recognising 'the so-called elections' of November 2 organised by representatives of the separatist forces of the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Lugansk, which it sees as integrant and inseparable parts of a sovereign Ukraine, MAE reports in a press release issued on Monday.

Moscow calls on Kiev to halt military offensive against rebels

Russia on Nov. 3 called on Ukraine to halt its military offensive against pro-Moscow rebels in the east, saying the insurgent leaders had enough "authority" to hold talks with Kiev.
      
Deputy foreign minister Grigory Karasin made the appeal after Moscow recognised separatist elections in two eastern Ukraine regions dismissed as illegal by Kiev and the West.
      

Bulgaria Does Not Recognize East Ukraine Poll - Foreign Ministry

Bulgaria does not accept presidential and parliamentary elections held on Sunday in Ukraine's Donbass as legitimate, Foreign Ministry officials say.

Genoveva Chervenakova, who heads the institution's press service, told the Bulgarian National Radio the vote was not in line with international law.
