Turkey sends medical virus aid to Balkan countries
A Turkish military plane carrying medical supplies arrived in North Macedonia on May 12 to support the country's battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
"Turkish Armed Forces aircraft carrying medical supplies for use against COVID-19 has arrived at the Republic of North Macedonia," the Turkish Defense Ministry said on Twitter.

Turkey has said it sent medical supplies to be used in the fight against the novel coronavirus to Ukraine and Tunisia upon the instruction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

New flights to US planned to bring Turkish nationals home
Turkish Airlines has scheduled special flights to New York, Chicago, Houston and Miami for Turkish citizens stranded in the U.S. because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The country's flag carrier will evacuate citizens back home from New York and Chicago on May 15, Houston on May 16 and Miami on May 17, according to a statement by the Turkish Embassy in Washington.
Palestine receives Turkish aid to stem coronavirus
The Palestinian Health Ministry on May 5 received a medical aid shipment from Turkey to help in the fight against
coronavirus.
The shipment was delivered by interim Turkish Ambassador Ahmet Rıza Demir during a reception at the Health Ministry premises.

Turkish, European Commision presidents discuss COVID-19
Turkish and European Commission leaders on May 1 held a phone talk to discuss matters of mutual interests, Turkey's Communications Directorate said in a statement.
According to the statement, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen discussed cooperation in the fight against the novel coronavirus, bilateral ties, and regional issues.
Turkey sends 2nd batch of medical aid to US
Turkey will dispatch medical supplies to Palestine to help it combat with the novel coronavirus outbreak, the presidential spokesman said on Thursday, while a second cargo plane carrying medical equipment to the United States departed from Ankara to Washington D.C.
