Israeli forces appeared to have withdrawn from three refugee camps in the occupied West Bank by Sept. 6 morning, after a more-than weeklong military operation that left dozens dead and a trail of destruction.

Palestinian families were forced to evacuate the eastern neighborhood of Jenin in the northern West Bank due to ongoing Israeli military operations.

The death toll from a three-day Israeli raid on the occupied West Bank rose to 20 on Friday, Israel and the Palestinian health ministry said, while violence raged on in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian health officials said Israeli forces killed seven Palestinians during a raid Tuesday in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, where the military said it had launched a counterterrorism operation.

The Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah said nine more people had been wounded, including two who were in critical condition.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that Israeli forces opened fire on the ward of Ibn Sina Hospital in the city of Jenin.
The ministry condemned the raid and called on the international community to put pressure on the Israeli army to stop such operations in hospitals.

An early morning strike by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank killed six Palestinians, while an Israeli police officer died when a roadside bomb hit her vehicle Sunday, sources on both sides said.

She asked for a meeting on December 29.
The United Arab Emirates called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council to be held tomorrow on the rapid escalation of the situation in the West Bank and its impact on the sustainability of the two-state solution," she said on the X platform (Twitter).

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has condemned what it called the "provocation" in a mosque in the occupied West Bank by Israeli troops who were seen reciting a Jewish prayer.
