Vucic: No deficit in first 40 days of 2015

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated on Tuesday that for the first time in the recent history, Serbia recorded no deficit in the first 40 days of the year.

Vucic expressed expectation at the conference under the title "Belgrade Dialogues" that this year's economic data will be by far better than expected.

Serbia Road Death Suspect ‘Hiding in Turkey’

After almost a month of investigation, Serbian police have named a suspect in the killing of 21-year-old Luka Jovanovic, who was hit by a car on July 25 on Branko’s Bridge in Belgrade.

According to the police, surveillance camera footage showed that suspect Marko Milicev hit Jovanovic with his black Mini Countryman and then drove off.

Serbian programmers win three medals in Taiwan

BELGRADE - Four young programmers from Serbia won three medals at 26th International Olympiad in Informatics that closed in Taipei on Sunday , leader of the Serbian team Nikola Milosavljevic has stated.

The Serbian programmers scooped two silver medals and one bronze at this year's competition whić
brought together 311 participants from 82 countries.

Anthology of Serbian aphorisms in Basque

BELGRADE - The anthology of Serbian anti-war aphorisms entitled "A shot in the war" (Gerrari tiroka) has been published in Spain, in the Basque language, the Section of Satirists of the Association of Writers of Serbia has stated.

The anthology was issued by the publishing house Erroteta, based in Amorebieta-Etxano, north Spain, on the coast of the Bay of Biscay.
