Four PKK militants killed in airstrikes in northern Iraq

Four outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants were killed in airstrikes by Turkish security forces in northern Iraq on Sept. 18, a local governor's office said in a statement.

The Turkish Air Forces carried out an operation after the militants were spotted by an unmanned aerial vehicle, killing four in the Mount Suki region in Iraq.

3 PKK militants reportedly behind assassination attempt against district head killed in Turkey's southeast

Three outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants suspected to have been behind an assassination attempt against a district head on July 7 and the killing of a district gendarmerie station commander on July 24, were killed in an air strike in the southeastern province of Siirt on Aug. 11, the Siirt Governor's Office has said in a statement. 

PKK militants kidnap, kill villager in Turkey's southeast

Outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants kidnapped and killed a villager early on July 23 in the southeastern province of Hakkari, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Sami Çiftçi was kidnapped from his home in the Çatalca village in Hakkari's Şemdinli district, according to sources who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.      

PKK militant with million-lira bounty on head killed in Turkey's east

An outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militant who was sought with a reward of one million Turkish Liras (around $281,000) was among 11 militants killed on June 27 in the eastern province of Bingöl, Doğan News Agency reported on July 3. 

Şahabettin Çotak, code-named "Aşut Star," was sought with a green arrest warrant and was on the Interior Ministry's "wanted terrorists list."

One Turkish soldier killed in PKK attack in Turkey's Hakkari

One Turkish soldier was killed and six were wounded in an outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) attack in the eastern province of Hakkari on June 6, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

PKK militants attacked a military vehicle with a rocket projector during its passage on the Hakkari-Çukurca highway.
