Euro court fines Turkey 115,000 euros for pecuniary, non-pecuniary damages over armed incident in Tunceli
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on Sept. 12 fined Turkey a total of 115,000 euros over an armed incident in 2007 which involved Turkish soldiers killing one man and injuring another in the eastern province of Tunceli.
Excavations end at ancient Magarsus
Archaeological excavations in the ancient city of Magarsus, located in the southern province of Adana's Karataş district, have temporarily ended. Works are expected to resume next season in Magarsus' theater's orchestra and stadium sections.

Victims of Adana dormitory fire disaster identified
Twelve bodies retrieved from a fire disaster at an all-girls' dormitory in the Aladağ district of the southern province of Adana were identified late on Nov. 30, Doğan News Agency has reported.
