U.S. officials believe terrorist known as ‘Jihadi John’ was killed in drone strike
The ISIS terrorist dubbed by the media as “Jihadi John” is believed to be dead following a United States air strike on Thursday. Mohammed Emwazi, known as Jihadi John, was thought to be killed as he left a building in Raqqa, Syria, in what U.S. officials call a “flawless” and “clean hit”.
American hostage Mueller's death confirmed by Obama, family
U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday confirmed the death of Kayla Mueller, a U.S. aid worker who had been held hostage by Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants, saying the United States would "find and bring to justice the terrorists who are responsible."
Obama calls ISIL beheadings 'pure evil'
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has beheaded Peter Kassig, releasing a video Nov. 16 showing a masked militant standing over the severed head of a man it said was the former U.S. Army Ranger-turned-aid worker, who was seized while delivering relief supplies in Syria last year.
