Bulgarian Actor Julian Kostov Joins The 3rd Season Of “The White Lotus”

The Bulgarian actor Julian Kostov has been chosen to participate in the third season of the series "The White Lotus" on HBO. He will replace Serbian-Russian actor Miloš Biković who was initially selected for the role, but left the project on Friday, following accusations of supporting the war in Ukraine.

A 2-Year-Old Child Was Attacked by a Tiger at a Thai Zoo

A 2- year-old child from Israel was attacked by a tiger on Thai island Koh Samui after the big cat broke away from its trainer at the Koh Samui Zoo.

The trainers kicked the tiger in the head in a desperate attempt to rid the young child of it. After the incident, the child was taken to a local hospital where doctors performed a CT scan.

Thailand Hit by Worst Storm in Decades

Tropical storm Pabuk has begun pelting southern Thailand with rain and wind, in what is expected to be the worst storm to hit the region in 30 years, reported BBC.

The storm made landfall at 12:45 local time (05:45 GMT) in the province of Nakhon Si Thammarat, the meteorological department said.

It is expected to move across southern Thailand, hitting popular tourist spots.

Smoking on the Beach in Thailand is Now Fined with USD 3000

Smokers who violate the smoking ban on 20 of Thailand's most popular tourist beaches will be fined USD 3,000 or will be imprisoned for up to one year, reports bgnes. 

The ban, which comes into force in November, follows the cleaning of nearly 140,000 cigarette buds from an area of 2.5 kilometers from the famous Patong Beach on Phuket Island.
