Renowned Bulgarian Actor and Director Slavcho Peev Passed Away
Bulgaria mourns the loss of one of its legends, as esteemed actor and director Slavcho Peev breathed his last breath, announced Kalin Sarmenov, director of the Satirical Theater.
"Slavcho Peev is gone! Light, Slavcho! And thank you for the meaningful moments. Applause and a bow!" expressed Sirmenov on his Facebook profile, encapsulating the sentiments of many.

"Today I demanded the resignations of the executive director of Bulgarian Posts and the entire composition of the board of directors," said the principal of the post, Deputy Prime Minister Kalina Konstantinova.
SANS and Interior Ministry Inspect Energy Watchdog
State Agency for National Security (SANS) and the Ministry of Interior have requested information from the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission and the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange, the two institutions have told BNR. They did not specify what the required information was, but most likely these are documents related to electricity trading on the energy exchange.

Bulgarian National Bank Releases New 100 BGN Banknote (Video)
The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) launches a new series of banknotes. The common design and basic features of the new series banknote are preserved without any substantial changes to the banknotes that are in circulation. Changes in the new series' banknotes stem mainly from the introduction of new security features, the bank said. The banknote will be in circulation from 28 December 2018.
Plamen Konstantinov Leaves Head Coach Position of Bulgaria's National Volleyball Team
The Bulgarian Volleyball Federation has parted way with its men's volleyball team head coach Plamen Konstantinov. His contract expired at the end of the World Championships last month, and after meetings between he and the federation president Dancho Lazarov, the split was announced. Bus with 29 Bulgarian Passengers is Stuck in France
